tutorial making transparant cloud in low poly only with 4 vertexs(eng)

at first i want to tell you that i'm not that good in english,coz i'm Indonesian

tutorial making transparant cloud in low poly only with 4 vertexs

# making picture alpha cloud (transparant)
first make a cloud pic with "Gimp"
make sure the background is white(so we can easy to do "color to alpha").
choose menu colors -> color to alpha,than klik ok.
because the cloud's color is white,so after we do "color to alpha" we can give a white color in the middle cloud with(Shif+B)
after that save the pic to .png

#2 make the plane
make a plane(Shift+A -> mesh -> plane)
than rotation the plane in "X" direction as big as 90 degree (R -> X -> 90)

#3 make transparent texture
make a new material (material -> New)
type : choose "image or movie"
*in image menu,open file cloud.png(open image)
PS:the pic that you make
than choose premultiply
*in mapping menu
change the coordinates to "UV"
*in influence menu
choose alpha

#4 make alpha in material
choose menu transparancy,choose z transparancy.in the alpha menu change to "0"

#5 UV mapping
in info menu klik choose screen lay-out menu and change it"from default to UV editing"
go to edit mode (tab)
select all to the object plane's vertex (klik "A")
choose menu "mark seam"that place in uv mapping,so the edge plane change to red
klik menu browse image to be linked,than choose cloud.png
than klik "Alt+Z".
but the pic is up-side down(i don't no why)
so rotation the plane in Y direction as big as 180 degree (R -> Y -> 180)

#6 addition
you kan grab the lamp to the in front of object to make the object can be see,or you can add a new lamp(better to use Hemi lamp)

#7 finishing
now please klik F12
taaaaaaaadaaaa,now the your object become a cloud that don't need more poly ^_^
